With the introduction of the new Grade 106 Burlington Special, the Burlington Watch Company also updated the dial options offered to customers.

The whimsical “Burlington Special” dial featuring hour figures with curly flourishes was discontinued in favor of a more conventional style. The Montgomery dial with marginal minutes was retained as an alternative for 16-Size and 12-Size watches, available for $0.25 per dial to pay the royalty fee.

A new “Gold Dial” was also introduced, as illustrated in the c.1915 Burlington Watch Company catalog. This imported dial was available at a $0.60 premium.

During this era, dials were still being signed “Burlington Special.”
