Not to be outdone by Elgin and Waltham, the Columbus Watch Company also introduced a line of society and sporting dials in 1890.

In the April 1890 issue of The Keystone, the Columbus Watch Company advertised the specialty dials and listed “emblematic dials” available for the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Freemasons, Knights of Pythias, and the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks.

Furnished in both 18 and 16 size, these dials are exceptionally rare on Columbus watches.
