In this video, we discuss how to tell whether your pocket watch case is original to the movement and what to look for when evaluating a pocket watch. Original cases should not be scored with extra screw marks and should also be appropriate for the production era of the movement.
Note: This video is intended to be a primer for a more complex topic. Exceptions certainly are known to exist, but this will help beginners know what to look for when evaluating a watch.
