American Waltham Watch Company Dial No. 2531, c.1901
The No. 2531 dial furnished by the American Waltham Watch Company is strikingly similar to the Elgin No. 2399 dial featured in the previous post.
This dial also features red five-minute indicators and large Arabic hour numerals, ideal for railroad service.
Waltham fitted this double-sunk dial on a variety of railroad-grade movements around 1900, including the Model 1892 Vanguard and Crescent St. grades.
