Sometimes, the more interesting things in horology are not readily seen. This is a shot under the dial of the Waltham Model 1870 Crescent Street posted yesterday. Notice the steel setting wheel engaging with the intermediary wheel to allow the key-set mechanism to function from the other side of the movement.
